CRIS Response to COVID

Community Refugee & Immigration Services aspires to make Central Ohio the most welcoming community for refugees and immigrants of all ages and from all parts of the world, to support them on their journeys toward safety and security, self-sufficiency, and successful integration into our community. CRIS’ diverse staff moves toward this mission with the support of incredible funders, community partners, and volunteers. Culture & Artisans' Fair

Save the date! Handmade crafts, music, and food from around the world will take center stage at the Second Annual Culture & Artisans’ Fair on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, between 10 AM - 3 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (2151 Dorset Road, Upper Arlington).
This family-friendly event is brought to you by CRIS, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, and the City of Upper Arlington—rain or shine!
Refugee Mental Health Workshop

This free virtual training, offered annually by CRIS Health & Wellness Clinical Lead Kyri Shaffer, aims to help equip mental health professionals (and educators) in Central Ohio to support the mental health needs of the growing refugee population. Topics include the refugee experience and resettlement, barriers to refugees accessing mental health services, and techniques to work more effectively with refugee clients. This year’s workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 9 AM - 12:15 PM.
